Simple Gantt chart software for planning and sharing project timelines.
NeoGantt is a simple online Gantt chart maker that runs in your browser. Draw tasks straight onto a timeline, group them into phases, add milestones, then share a live link or a one-page PDF. It’s free for one person with up to five charts, and there’s no project management platform to adopt first.

A Gantt chart without the project management software.
No workspace to set up
Sign in with Google or email, pick a template or a blank chart, and draw. There are no fields, statuses or custom views to design first.
No seats to assign
A team plan is one flat price for up to five or fifteen people. The clients and executives who only read the plan never need a login.
No feature maze
Tasks, groups, milestones, dates. The whole editor fits on one toolbar, and every change can be undone, so nobody needs training.

The detail is in our guides to Gantt charts in Excel and Google Sheets, and in the comparisons, including when a full suite is the right call.
Plans change. Keep the receipts.
When a plan is agreed, save it as an iteration. When scope shifts or someone goes on leave, move the bars and save the next one: NeoGantt lists what moved, what was added and what was removed since the last. Leave the reason as a comment on the bar and everyone with the link sees it.
Six weeks later, when someone asks what was agreed at kickoff, the answer is one click away, and any earlier version can be restored.

A good fit if you…
- present plans to clients or stakeholders who won’t log in to your tools
- want a timeline that looks finished without an afternoon of formatting
- re-plan often and need a record of what changed
- already track tasks elsewhere and only need the Gantt chart
- are a small or mid-sized team that doesn’t want per-seat pricing
Look elsewhere if you need…
- task dependencies that reschedule automatically
- critical path analysis or baselines
- resource levelling, workload or time tracking
- integrations with Jira, Slack or similar
- native mobile apps

Questions about NeoGantt
What is Gantt chart software?
Gantt chart software lets you plan a project as a list of tasks with bars on a calendar, so you can see what happens when, what overlaps and when the milestones fall. A dedicated tool makes dates quick to move and the plan easy to share; a spreadsheet can draw one, but every change is manual.
What’s the easiest way to make a Gantt chart?
Start from a template close to your project, drag the bars onto your real dates and rename what doesn’t fit. In NeoGantt you can also draw a task by click-dragging across the timeline and press Enter for the next row, so a first plan takes minutes rather than an afternoon of spreadsheet setup.
Can I make a Gantt chart without project management software?
Yes. NeoGantt is only a Gantt chart tool: there’s no workspace to configure, no task database to fill in and no per-seat licence. If you already track day-to-day tasks somewhere else, you can keep doing that and use NeoGantt for the timeline people need to see.
Is NeoGantt free?
Yes, for one person with up to five charts, with nothing held back. Teams of up to five people pay $15 a month or $99 a year, and teams of six to fifteen pay $25 a month or $199 a year.
Does NeoGantt support task dependencies or critical path?
No. It’s built for fast, clear timelines rather than dependency-driven scheduling. If you need linked tasks that reschedule themselves, critical path or resource levelling, Microsoft Project or a Gantt tool with dependencies, such as GanttPRO, will suit you better.
Do I need to download anything?
No. NeoGantt runs in the browser. Shared charts open on any device; the editor is built for a laptop or desktop screen, and there are no native mobile apps.
Can I move my charts from TeamGantt?
Yes. Export a CSV from TeamGantt and import it; groups, tasks, milestones, dates, colours and progress come across. Dependencies and assignees don’t, because NeoGantt doesn’t have them.
